Full Description
Earthworks of medieval ridge and furrow at Somerby Grange, Corringham. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1}
More extensive ridge and furrow earthworks than those previously identified by the NMP, can be discerned on recent lidar data. These remains extend to the west, underneath Willoughton Wood, with almost all the earthworks aligned on a south-west to north-east axis. {2}
