Full Description

Earthworks of a probable modern enclosure to the west of Lea, identified on aerial photography by the National Mapping Programme. {1} The enclosure is not depicted on any of the historical Ordnance Survey map editions, and its exact origins are uncertain. It appears on aerial photographs to have a sinuous ditch connecting it to a similar but smaller pond to the east. The site was ploughed during summer 1999. {2}{3}
