Full Description

Cropmarks of a possible prehistoric round barrow, identified on aerial photography by the National Mapping Programme. {1}{2} Further traces of the possible prehistoric barrow were recorded in May 2007, during magnetometry survey of the proposed route of a new water pipeline between Glentham and Harpswell Reservoir. The remains were identified as a circular magnetic anomaly, with an adjacent linear magnetic anomaly thought to represent the remains of a possibly associated ditch. {3}
