Full Description

PRN 53930 PROBABLE PREHISTORIC SETTLEMENT. {1}{2} Nucleated settlement showing part of a double-ditched enclosure at centre. The southern half is rectangular and regular in form with well-defined perimeter; the northern half is irregular, 'open' and on a different alignment. Fieldwalking yielded a quantity of material of late 3rd-4th century AD date including pottery and a possible box-tile fragment. {7}
