Full Description

Cropmarks of a possible enclosure and pits of unknown date, to the south of The Poplars, Scotter. Visible as two sides of a rectilinear feature, the western side of which may be double-ditched. Within the bounds of this possible enclosure is a set of five small pits, laid out in a circular arrangement. Fragments of further ditched boundaries appear to cross parts of the possible enclosure, suggesting later re-cutting or occupation of this site. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1}
