Full Description
Considerable amounts of Romano-British pottery were recovered in this area to the east of Torksey Lock, during field walking undertaken in the 1960s by students at Nottingham University. It was thought that the pottery may mark the site of a former farmstead, in close associateion with the adjacent remains of a possible Roman trackway (see MLI53799). {1}
