Summary

MEDIEVAL SETTLEMENT OF BROCKLESBY

Type and Period (2)

Protected Status/Designation

  • None recorded

Full Description

Brocklesby's population history is difficult to draw out because it is entangled with its members and parochial dependents of Newsham and Little Limber. Nevertheless it was very clearly a larger settlement in the pre-black death period than the later Middle Ages. {1}
