Full Description
Snelland Railway Station has a brick-built, slate roofed station house, which was extended at an unknown date to twice its original size. The station sidings were removed c.1964. There is a goods platform in the yard with a corrugated iron shed, a disused weigh office and a stone built coal drop. The station has six oil lamp standards and one wall bracket. It was opened c.1848 by the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway line. {1}
