Full Description

This three storey windmill stands alone in the middle of a field. There are no other surviving features. There is no internal machinery (except an iron curb) or floors. It was converted in 1993 to house owl boxes after standing as a derelict, open, hollow tower for many years. The conversion included the provision of a roof (of roofing felt and timber) and the bricking up of most openings. The windmill dates from the early 19th century and had gone out of use by 1908. {1}{2}{3} For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {4}
