Full Description
A Romano-British cinerary urn was found in the garden of the vicarage in 1949, together with a roll-rim jar, 12 ins high, late 3rd to early 4th century, containing a cremation of a woman aged 25-35. The finds were made by the resident in the former vicarage whose wife confirmed the siting as exact. {1}{2}{3}
