Full Description
THE GATEHOUSE WAS BUILT C.1848 AT THE TIME OF THE OPENING OF THE RAILWAY TO GRIMSBY. THE GATEHOUSE IS TWO-STOREY WITH A BAY WINDOW DOWNSTAIRS FRONTING ONTO THE TRACK. THE BUILDING IS CROSS-SHAPED IN PLAN WITH A CENTRAL CHIMNEY. {1}
