Full Description

Earthworks of medieval ridge and furrow, to the north-west of Owmby. Visible as three distinct blocks of remains, all with the furrows aligned on a roughly south-west to north-east axis. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1} More extensive remains of medieval ridge and furrow can be seen on the Google Maps satellite imagery layer and on LiDAR data for this area. These additional earthworks link the three blocks previously identified by the NMP, and are aligned on the axis, though are fainter and less prominent. {2}{3}
