Full Description

A Bronze Age axe hammer was found in 1912, on land at North Kelsey Moor. The exact findspot is unknown. The artefact was perforated and made of basalt stone, measuring 7" long and 3" thick. It was donated to Lincoln Museum. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5} The artefact was thin-sectioned, and was thought to be of group XVIII type. {5}
