Full Description
A surface scatter of probable Neolithic and/or Bronze Age artefacts was found in December 1955, on land to the north-east of Moortown. The assemblage included a number of pottery sherds and flint implements, including scrapers and both leaf-shaped and barbed and tanged arrowheads. {1}{2}
