Full Description

St Mary's Church retains the medieval tower dating from c.1300-30. It was rebuilt in 1795, in part from materials of the ruined church of St Nicholas. {1}{2}{3} A parish church with evidence of 13th and 14th century and 1798 alterations and resoration in 1853 by W. Butterfield and again in 1889 by Hodgson Fowler. {4}
