Full Description

A railway bridge carrying the track over watercourse and pathway. It is brick-built, with earth embankment either side. It was built by the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway (MSLR - later the Great Central Railway) as part of the Barnetby to Lincoln branch, and was opened in c.1848. It was owned by LNER from 1922-1948 and British Rail from 1948. {1}
