Full Description

A probable Roman stone coffin containing an inhumation burial was found on 24th September 1975, during subsoiling in this location. The coffin was excavated and measured 2m by 65cm, although the lid had been broken by the subsoiler. It was aligned on an east to west axis. {1}{2}{3}{4}
