Full Description

Within this ruined house, there is an exterior mullioned window which is now blocked and an interior window which has been reused as the back of a fireplace. There is also a stone fireplace dating from the 15th to 16th century. The brickwork above the fireplace is also c.15th to 16th century. The stonework perhaps belongs to Barlings Abbey and was probably moved post-dissolution. There is a brick in the City and County Museum. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}{6} An aerial photograph of July 1948 shows more mullioned windows and walls than are now visible. {7}
