Full Description

Monoxylous 'dug-out' canoe (Fox type IIb) was found in the peat, below silt, in March 1952. It measures 24 feet by 2 feet. The boat is now in The Collection (City and County Museum). {1}{2} This boat measured 24 feet in length by 3 feet one inch across. {6}
