Earthwork mound, named as 'Mill Hill', thought to mark the location of a former windmill, to the south of Ingleby Grange.

Full Description
Mill Hill was bulldozed on 29 September 1950. No structural evidence was noted, one sherd of 17th century pottery was found in the mound. {1}{2}
It is marked as a tumulus on the first edition Ordnance Survey map of 1824, but is almost certainly a windmill mound. {4}
It may well be the site of the windmill recorded at the Manor of South Ingleby in 1304. {5}
