DISTURBANCE TO ROMAN MATERIAL, INCLUDING C2-C4 POTTERY AND COINS (COARSE WARE, CASKET HANDLE, AND A BRONZE C4 'CONSTANINOPOLIS' ISSUE (330-46 AD). {1}{2}{3}
DISTURBANCE TO ROMAN MATERIAL BY BUILDING OPERATIONS OCCURED ON BOTH SIDES OF MILL LANE, SAXILBY IN 1956. THIS TOGETHER WITH THE OPEN FIELD FURLONG NAME BLACKLANDS MAY POINT TO A SUBSTANTIAL ROMAN SETTLEMENT. {4}{5}
