Full Description

SITE OF A SUPPOSED BRICK YARD. AFTER A PERIOD BRICKS WERE STOP BEING MADE THERE, BUT CLAY WAS STILL QUARRIED AND TRANSPORTED TO A BRICKYARD ON TILL BRIDGE LANE. BRICKMAKERS WERE RECORDED IN THE CENSUS RETURNS OF 1842. IT WAS NOT IN EXISTENCE ON MAPS OF 1808, 1838 OR 1840. IT WAS A TREE-COVERED CLOSE BY 1868. {1}
