THE ANGLO-SAXON JAR WAS PRESENTED TO CCM IN 1975. IT WAS FOUND IN 1850, AND DATES TO C450 AD, AND THERE ARE PARALLELS FOR THE SHAPE AND DECORATION IN NORTH GERMANY. {1}
