Full Description

Cropmarks of two rectangular enclosures, identified on aerial photography by the National Mapping Programme and thought to be of probable Iron Age or Roman date. The cropmarks show traces of re-cutting and overlap, and probably indicate two different phases of activity. One of the rectilinear enclosures measures approximately 40m by 30m, and has what is thought to be an entrance facing east. The other enclosure is incomlpete, but has an approximate breadth of 55m. {1}{2}
