PRN 52538 MEDIEVAL POTTERY, INCLUDING SHELLY WARE RIM FOUND URING DRAINAGE OPERATIONS IN GARDEN. {1} DURING AN EVAULATION AT 'VERITY', TORKSEY WARE POTTERY WAS DISCOVERED, DATING FROM THE TWELFTH CENTURY AND EARLIER. ANIMAL BONE WAS ALSO DISCOVERED. A WELL-DEFINED TRACKWAY WAS REVEALED, ALIGNED EAST-WEST, AND WITH POSSIBLE CART RUTS IN IT. THIRTEENTH AND FOURTEENTH CENTURY POTTERY WAS RECOVERED FROM A DEPOSIT IMMEDIATELY ABOVE THE TRACK. ELSEWHERE ON THE SITE ANOTHER METALLED SURFACE WAS REVEALED, AS WELL AS A RUBBISH PIT, WHICH CONTAINED TWELFTH CENTURY POTTERY, BONE, SHELLS AND KILN FURNITURE. {3}{4}
