Full Description
Anglo-Saxon coins found in various locations around Torksey, between 1984 and 1991:
5 'sceattas', 1 Offa of Mercia, 1 Coenwulf of Mercia (Tribach type), 1 Alfred of Wessex (Lunette type).
Other coins found in a single field at Torksey, not as a dispersed hoard, 1989-91:
7 Northumbrian 'Stycas'.
