Full Description

A 4th century, Roman AE3 bronze coin of Crispus (317-26 AD) was found in the garden of 29 Littleborough Lane. It was marked on the obverse with a laureate bust of Crispus facing right, and inscribed 'CRISPUS NOB CAES'. The reverse has an altar inscribed 'VOTIS XX BEATA TRANQUILLITAS', with three stars above the altar 'PLG'. {1}{2}
