Full Description
NETTLEHAM HALL WAS GUTTED BY FIRE IN 1937. DESPITE HALF A CENTURY OF DECAY, MUCH OF THE GEORGIAN SHELL REMAINS. THE ENTRANCE GATES WITH C19 PIERS TAKEN THERE IN 1956 FROM THE DEMOLISHED ST PETER AT ARCHES, LINCOLN, WERE PRESUMABLY DESIGNED BY FRANCIS OR WILLIAM SMITH WHO BUILT THE CHURCH ON 1720- 4. {1}
