POSSIBLE ROMANO BRITISH SETTLEMENT SITE WITH POTTERY SCATTER - C4 GREY WARE, STRAIGHT SIDE AND CURVED FLANGED BOWLS, GROUP OF SHELLY WARE WITH HUNTCLIFFE TYPE NOTCH ON INSIDE OF RIM, ALSO FLAT TOPS, SMALLER GROUP WITH DARK GREY SURFACES AND BROWN CORE, 2 SHERDS NODULAR RUSTIC AND LIGHT GREY WARE, 1 SHERD LINEAR, 1 SHERD PARISIAN TYPE, 2 SHERDS AMPHORA AND 1 LUMP OP SIG, BOX AND FLOOR TILE, VERY SMALL GROUP OF COLOUR COATED WARE. ALSO GREY WARE BASE WITH SMALL DRILL HOLE (NOT SPINDLE WHORL). COINS: 1 ANTONINIANUS OF TETRICUS I (270- 3 AD) BARB.
