Full Description
Settlement, or farm, of Haddow probably occupied the low rise beside the river till where a modern farm stands. It formed a detacehd part of the Bishop of Lincoln's manor of Nettleham: it was leased to the Monsons from the early 17th century until at least the mid 19th century. It was probably never more than a single farm or small hamlet, with specialised functions similar to the 'booths' of the south Lincolnshire fen edge. {1}
