PRN 52138
A MEDIEVAL PLOUGH FURROW PARALLEL TO THE FIELD HEDGE 8 M TO THE NORTH. THE HEDGE INCLUDES MATURE HAWTHORN BUSHES AND APPEARS TO BE OF SOME ANTIQUITY IN ITS PRESENT POSITION. THE A1084 ROAD INTO CAISTOR IS SUNKEN HERE BETWEEN THE BANKS ON EITHER SIDE AND MEDIEVAL ORIGIN IS LIKELY. {1}{2}
