Full Description

A probable post-medieval quarry is depicted in this location to the south-east of Brattleby Cliff Farm on the 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey County Series map. The site was labelled as an 'Old Quarry', suggesting it was no longer being worked at the time of the survey. The quarry has been largely backfilled, most likely as part of the works to construct the adjacent RAF Scampton. {1}{2}{3}
