Full Description

Earthworks of a potential embanked enclosure of unknown date, to the north of Gainsborough. Three sides of the potential enclosure, measuring 25m wide, are visible. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1} The earthworks appear to have been removed by recent residential development, and no trace can now be seen on the Google Maps aerial imagery layer. {2}
