Full Description

Cropmarks of a probable former woodland boundary, of medieval or post-medieval date, to the north of Dales Bottom Plantation, Stainton le Vale. The cropmarks suggest it was a ditched feature, enclosing an asymmetrical area measuring roughly 150m by 90m. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1}
