The easternmost of two probable Bronze Age round barrows, visible as cropmarks at Hoe Hill. Appears as a circular enclosure, defined by a single ditch measuring roughly 20m in diameter. The second Bronze Age round barrow lies approximately 140m to the north-west (see MLI51776), with earlier Neolithic long barrows and features in close proximity. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1} More recent analysis of the aerial photography for this area shows the barrow ring ditches as soilmarks, and as a compacted centre area of earth in the case of this eastern barrow. {2}
