Full Description

Cropmarks of probable prehistoric or Roman enclosures and trackways, on land to the north of Hackthorn. The main enclosure appears as an asymmetrical, sub-rectangular feature, defined by a ditch measuring approximately 120m by 70m. A ditched boundary which leads off from the enclsoure's south-eastern corner appears to forma trackway. To the south of the main enclosure is an attached, small square enclosure, measuring approximately 10m by 10m. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1}
