WORKED FLINTS AND TWO NEOLITHIC POLISHED STONE AXES FROM THE AREA OF THE FORMER PARISH OF EAST FIRSBY, PRESENTED TO LINCOLN MUSEUM BY J H SMITH IN 1950. NO EXACT PROVENANCE KNOWN. {1} BOTH OF THE STONE AXES WERE THIN SECTIONED AND FOUND TO BE OF GROUP VI IN ORIGIN. {2} SHOWN AT TF002852 ON THE 6inch OS MAP. {4}
