A DARK HONEY-COLOURED FLINT FLAKE, 3 INCHES LONG, WITH RAZOR-SHARP EDGES, WAS FOUND 5 FEET DOWN IN YELLOW SAND DURING CONSTRUCTION WORK FOR NEW HOUSES IN ORCHARD CLOSE, OFF MILL LANE. PRESENTED TO LINCOLN MUSEUM IN 1969. {1}
