Full Description

A long, sub-rectangular pond marked on the 1824 first edition 1 inch Ordnance Survey map, marked as an earthwork bank on the 1956 6 inch Ordnance Survey map. The stream appears to have been diverted into a new course around the north-western side of the pond. Possibly used as a source of clay for brickmaking? {1}{2}{3}
