Full Description

Roman pottery was found during excavations on the site of the vestry at Bardney Abbey. {1}{3} A quantity of very broken Roman pottery found in 1913 during excavations of a chamber (possibly a vestry?). Running the whole length of the north aisle of the choir of the abbey church. {2} Archaeological Project Services excavated a trench within the refectory in 2011 which revealed Roman tiles. {4}{5}
