Full Description
MUCH ROMAN POTTERY AND ALSO COINS HAVE BEEN PLOUGHED UP IN THE PAST IN THE FIELD BY THE WATER TOWER AND IN THE FIELDS TO THE WEST AND EAST OF MIDDLE STREET, REPORTED IN 1975. THREE BRONZE ROMAN COINS FROM THIS AREA ARE IN LINCOLN MUSEUM:- AN AS POSSIBLY OF SEVERUS, AN ANTONINIANUS OF CARAUSIUS, AND A C3 ANTONINIANUS. {1}{2}
