A BRONZE ANTONINIANUS, PROBABLY OF GALLIENUS (AD 260-268), FOUND NEAR MANOR FARM BY THE FARM FOREMAN IN c1974. THE OBVERSE IS ILLEGIBLE BUT HAS A BUST WITH RADIATE CROWN LOOKING RIGHT; THE REVERSE POSSIBLY READS '...ORIENS AUG' AND HAS SOL. L. WITH A GLOBE. RIC 251 TYPE? {1} THREE FURTHER ROMAN COINS FOUND DURING PLOUGHING AND REPORTED IN 1975. A BRONZE FOLLIS OF CONSTANTINE I (306-337 AD), OF 'SOLI INVICTO COMITI' TYPE OF THE LONDON? MINT (RIC 149-151); A BRONZE COIN OF ?VALENTINIAN OF THE 'GLORIA ROMANORUM' TYPE, ARLES MINT (LRBC 512); AND A BRONZE COIN OF THE C3 OR C4. {2}{3}{4}
