Full Description

ROMANO-BRITISH POTTERY FOUND IN THE VICINITY OF GLENTHAM GRANGE, GLENTHAM, IN 1961, SEEN AT LINCOLN MUSEUM. {1}{2} IN 1963 HARPER REPORTED THAT THERE WAS A CONSIDERABLE NUMBER OF POTSHERDS FROM THE AREA. THEY WERE FOUND PRINCIPALLY AT A SITE AT TF01309115 PRODUCING PREDOMINATELY ROMANO-BRITISH COARSE WARE. IN 1963 THE SITE WAS UNDER THE PLOUGH, BUT NO SURFACE FINDS WERE MADE DURING INVESTIGATION. {3}
