Full Description
A Neolithic polished stone axe was found in 1962, found on land near to the River Ancholme at Normanby by Spital. The finder described the findspot as being near to Holme Hill at Glentham, though confirmed this grid reference as the correct location, which gives a findspot in Normanby by Spital parish. The axe was given to the finder's nephew. {1}{2}
