Full Description

A POLISHED GREENSTONE AXE FOUND IN 1958. NOW IN LINCOLN MUSEUM. IN 1964 SEAMAN REPORTED THAT THE FARMER INDICATED THE EXACT FIND SPOT AT SK97328895 AND SAID THAT THE AXE WAS PRESENTED TO LINCOLN MUSEUM. {1}~ THERE ARE THREE DIFFERENT GRID REFERENCES FOR THIS FIND:- THE OS CARD HAS SK97408935 AND SK97328895; THE SMR CARD HAS SK973897. ~ THIN SECTIONED AND FOUND TO BE OF TUFF. {5}~
