Full Description
A SMALL BRONZE C3 OR C4 ROMAN COIN FOUND AT GLENTHAM IN 1957. IN 1964 COLQUHOUN REPORTED THAT THE COIN WAS IN THE COIN COLLECTION AT LINCOLN MUSEUM. THE FIND SPOT WAS NOT CONFIRMED AS THE FINDER WAS OVERSEAS. {1}~ A ROMAN COIN POSSIBLY OF THE C4 FOUND IN 1957 NEAR THE NEWEL WELL. POSSIBLY FL.HELENA AUGUSTA. BADLY WORN, WITH 'RY SECURITAS REIPUBLICAE'. {2}~, HTM 28M
