Full Description
ALTHOUGH IT LACKS MEDIEVAL DOCUMENTATION, HUCKERBY WAS RECKONED A SEPARATELY TITHEABLE HAMLET OR DIVISION OF CORRINGHAM IN THE MID C19, EXTENDING TO 74HA (183 ACRES). MEDIEVAL POTTERY FINDS ARE REPORTED FROM CLOSE TO THE SITE OF THE SINGLE C19 FARM. {1}~ MEDIEVAL POTTERY FOUND AT SK902938 BY ETHEL RUDKIN. SITE OF A MEDIEVAL HAMLET. {2}~, HTM 21M
