Full Description
The top stone of a probable Roman rotary quern, found in 1971 on land to the north of Hemswell Lane, to the west of Hemswell. The stone had a funnel-shaped perforation and a side hole to take a handle. It was donated to Scunthorpe Museum. {1}{2}
