Full Description
The upper and lower stones from a Roman quern were found in 1964, on land at the Normanby le Wold and Walesby parish boundary, at the junction of a stream and beck. {1}
The finders confirmed the find location in 1971, and stated that several sherds of Romano-British greyware pottery had also been recovered at the same time. The present location of the finds is unknown. {2}
