AN UNPOLISHED FLINT AXE AND FLINT SICKLE FOUND BY ETHEL RUDKIN. IN 1964 COLQUHOUN REPORTED THAT MRS RUDKIN CONFIRMED THE FIND SPOT AND THAT IT WAS UNDER MODERN FARMING. {1}
THE SMR CARD GIVES THE GRID REFERENCE AS SK93659284; THE FINDS AS AN 'UNPOLISHED FLINT AXE AND/OR SICKLE'; AND QUOTES AS THE SOURCE THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL JOURNAL VOL 91. {2}
THERE IS NO GRID REFERENCE IN PHILLIP'S ARTICLE IN THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL JOURNAL AND THE FINDS REFERED TO ARE 'TWO UNPOLISHED FLINT AXES'. {3}, HTM 63M
